Strawberry Jam

My hands down favorite way (other than eating right out of the field) to use fresh strawberries is to make some sweet, sweet Strawberry Jam. This particular recipe can also be used as ice cream topping and when I make this my son, Britt is my biggest fan!  My wonderful husband gave me a Ball Jam and Jelly Maker for my birthday four years ago and I’ve made many, many batches of this Jam.  I use the jam recipe that came with my maker, but here is a wonderful lower sugar recipe that you cook on the stove top!  Always, always follow safe canning practices when preserving foods that you feed your friends and family.  Ball Canning has safe recipes and publishes a wonderful book every couple of years that has current safe preserving practices.

I’ve created this cute jar topper and label using the Cool Treats bundle and Tasty Treats designer series paper.  The topper is cut using the layering circle framelits.

Hope you enjoy this sweet project and are encouraged to make some sweet gifts for your friend and family. Have a Blessed day.
