The new Hershey mini birthday line is so cute and matches Stampin Up’s bright colors so well! I knew when I saw them I had to make some cute birthday treats for my sweet little niece and nephew Rebel and Ryott who will be ONE this weekend! The theme of their party is Sesame Street so these colors complement that also. I’m so happy with this beautiful birthday stamp set from the new Occasions catalog Balloon Adventures. I’ve made several cards already and can tell it will be one of my go to birthday sets. The sentiments are great and I love, love, love the cute balloons!.
I used the sweet 2″x8″ Cellophane bags to hold the mini candy bars. I used the layering circle framelits for the cute bag topper and finshed it off with this cute ribbon from the Sending Love Suite. Colors used are whisper white, real red, pacific point, daffodil delight.
Here’s hoping you have a blessed day!!!
Welcome to the Blog Hop for March 2017. This month our theme is “SaleABration”!!! Lots of beautiful projects to inspire you!
We are in the last few weeks of SaleAbration and my favorite item has to be the beautiful glimmer paper! I created these two cute cards using the adorable hostess set called Love You Lots and the oh so pretty Oh So Succulent designer series paper and the sweet sugarplum glimmer paper.
Colors used are Tip Top Taupe, Sweet Sugar Plum, Old Olive, Archival Black. Both images are watercolored with the awesome new watercolor pencils! I also used the layering ovals framelits, the heart is diecut using the Up & Away thinlets. Ribbon is from the Sending Love suite. All of these wonderful products can purchased by clicking the SHOP button in the menu up top! The beautiful glimmer paper can be earned FREE by ordering at least $50 in product!!
I’m giving one lucky winner a set of the new watercolor pencils!!!!! Rules are simple – follow my blog!!! I will get my sweet Sadie to draw a name on Friday, March 17th. The only catch is winner has to be in the USA as Stampin Up will not allow us to send current product out of country. So follow my blog (my Facebook also if you like) to keep up with all the SU news and the projects I post. I hope to inspire you to create!!!

So I’m a little late to the party, but apparently last year one of the sweet ladies, Shannon West, from Stampin’ Up! corporate office challenged all demonstrators to #imbringingbirthdaysback and that she was going to send out birthday cards to everyone who wanted one. I missed out on that but I decided that I was going to start creating a bunch of birthday cards to give to family and friends. This stamp set is from the spring occasions catalog and it’s called Balloon Adventures. I also used the swirly scribbles thinlets from the annual catalog. Colors used our Daffidil delight, Real red, Bermuda bay, Pacific point, pear pizzazz, and pool party.
Click on the Shop Now in the menu to purchase this fantastic stamp set today! Hoping you have a blessed day!!!
I didn’t pay much attention to this set in the annual catalog because there is only two images and the rest of the stamps in the set are sentiments. I was completely smitten when I got it though. This set has some of the most beautiful sentiments of any set in the catalog.
For this card I stamped the main rose image with Versa Mark ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I took my aqua painter and water colored the rose with blushing bride ink and then highlighted it with watermelon wonder ink. The leaves are water colored with pear pizzazz. I used watercolor paper and the card stock base is blushing bride. I lightly stamped the lace image from touches of texture and blushing bride ink. The sentiment is stamped on a die from the Stylish Stems Framelits Die. As a finishing touch I used a piece of the dotted lace trim in watermelon wonder that is on the clearance rack at this time. Hope you enjoy this project and hope you have a blessed day!!
I had a ton of fun creating and designing this cute card set using some retired designer series paper and several beautiful stamp sets this weekend! The card in the top right corner is a CASE from Tracy Jacobs. Current sets used are Best Birds #141525 and Rose Wonder #140697.
I’m going to package these cards up and use them in a raffle basket I’m making for our little town Daffodil Festival in April. I’m setting up my first booth and I’m a little excited! Hope you have a blessed day!
