Moon Baby NC Demos February Blog Hop

I am so excited to be a part of the NC Stampin’ Up demonstrator blog hop for February celebrating special OCCASIONS!!! I hope you enjoy all the fantastic ideas in  the hop! I chose to go with new babies and this cutie set Moon Babies just because I have baby fever (really grandbaby fever, but I’m waiting patiently Miss Molly ūüôā

This set is just so stinkin’ cute and I’ve already used it a few times.  This card is standard A2 size (5.5″x4.25″), Bermuda Bay layer is cut @ 5.25″x4″ and Cupcakes and Carousels DSP layer is cut @ 5″x3.75″.  I used the stitched layering ovals for the main image and the two strips for the sentiment are .5″x1.5″ and I just flagged the ends with my snips. I used the lace doilies and sponged Bermuda Bay ink. The main image is colored using the new watercolor pencils and the aqua painter.  Linen thread and the mini stapler finish off this sweet baby card that can be used as a card with a baby shower gift or could be used as a baby shower invitation.

I hope you enjoy this month’s project and if you would like to purchase any of the items used just click the Shop Now button in my menu up top and don’t forget to FOLLOW my blog so you don’t miss any the projects I post. And when I reach 100 blog followers I will be doing a giveaway also!!!

Go have a look at the next fantastic project on our hop!!

Sweet Easter Card

I had this card envisioned in my head for weeks before I could get it straight on paper, I’m not fessing up to the number of white background pieces I threw away before I got it like I wanted and I have to say I’m tickled with how it came out.  Those little chicks and that basket are DARLING!!!!  I used the Basket Bunch Bundle and Delicate Details (fabulous SAB set) for the images and colored using the water color pencils.  I used the stitched framelits and the layering circle framelits.  The bit of twine was leftover from the Cupcakes and Carousels embellishment kit.  Colors used are Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, Tangerine Twist, Pear Pizzazz. I hope you enjoy this cute little set and don’t get sick of projects because I’m planning ALOT and will be showcasing them the first week of April 2017!!  Hoping you have a blessed day!

Hurry Up Spring!!

I kinda went a little crazy on the number of stamp sets I used on this beautiful card, but I couldn’t resist! The main image is Remarkably You, the flower is stamped twice and fussy cut with one of them cut down to look like a bud. The leaves over stamped with the small leaf from the Special Reason set, the flower is over stamped with first and second generation stamping with the Avant Garden set. Background is from Touches of Texture and the sentiment is from Suite Sayings from the Occasions catalog.  FIVE sets!! I’m planning a simplified version that will only use Remarkable You and Suite Sayings LOL.  I used the layering circle framelits, colors of cardstock/ink are real red, pear pizzazz, archival black and whisper white.

Carousel Birthday

One more birthday card!!! I’m not sure if it’s the draw of fun birthday cards or this CUTE stamp set Carousels Birthday and the designer series paper¬†and embellishment kit¬†in this Suite Cupcakes & Carousels. ¬†I sponged the doily and stamped the horse with Calypso Coral, the sentiment in Bermuda Bay. Card base is 5.5″x4.25″, dsp base is 5.25″x4″ and strip of dsp is 4″x2″.

I want to give another shout out to subscribing to Paper Pumpkin and how much I dearly love this monthly kit! There are so many alternate ideas that other creative, talented papercrafters post each month also. The stamp sets and little ink spots are worth the cost of joining alone.  The sets from my paper pumpkin collection are the most practical sentiments that I have in my collection of stamps. Right now you can buy a three month prepaid subscription for $55 which saves you $5 AND earns you one free SaleABration item!!  Contact me today to order the 3 month subscription!  Hoping your day is blessed!!!

Celebrate!

The Celebrations Duo embossing folders is fantastic and comes in a bundle with a stamp set. The word is DEBOSSED not embossing making the letters sink down into the paper so you can stamp over top and the letters magically appear! ¬†I didn’t care for the matching stamp set so I played around and found out¬†almost any solid stamp would work. I used the textured stamp from Touches of Texture which looks like bursts of fireworks to me. ¬†I also used the Hexagons Dynamic embossing folder and the sentiment comes from February’s fabulous paper pumpkin kit! Basic jewel rhinestones in each of the corners gives it just enough bling. ¬†Colors used: Daffadil delight, bermuda bay, tangerine tango, crushed curry, melon mambo and whisper white. Hope you enjoy and have a very blessed day!!!

Jar of Love

This was the first set I bought from the annual catalog! I love mason jars and I’m glad we carry this one. I used the stitched framelits for the sentiment. Colors used are my favorites: Bermuda bay, calypso coral, melon mambo, crushed curry, pear pizazz, and pool party. Used linen thread also.
